Chicago Magic Lounge is a speakeasy-style magic theater in Andersonville that specializes in close-up and stage magic performed by a rotating lineup of professional magicians from Chicago and beyond. The venue is hidden behind a neighborhood laundromat facade and opens into an Art Deco-inspired space. Guests can experience magic in two settings: the Performance Bar, where close-up magic happens inches away while enjoying craft cocktails and shareable small plates, and the Harry Blackstone Cabaret, a theater space for full performances that blend intimate sleight-of-hand with larger stage illusions.

The experience draws on Chicago's long tradition of bar magic and close-up performance, with a different lineup of magicians each week. The venue is age 21+ (16+ with a legal guardian), and visitors don't need tickets to enjoy the bar alone. Hours run 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. most nights, with extended hours Friday and Saturday until 2 a.m., and Sunday matinees starting at 3 p.m.
