Penelope's is Chicago's first fully vegan taqueria, with three locations across Andersonville, Pilsen, and River North. The menu centers on plant-based tacos and street-style Mexican food, paired with Mexican beers, mezcal, and tequila cocktails. The kitchen approaches vegan Mexican cuisine as authentic rather than as a substitute category.
Walk-ins and reservations are both welcome. The space accommodates private parties and catering orders. A weekend brunch buffet and an Andersonville happy hour round out the programming. Delivery is available through multiple platforms across all three neighborhoods.
